Mechanism of Action
The two peptides act on complementary receptors of the growth-hormone axis. CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1–29) is a tetra-substituted GHRH(1–29) analog that binds the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs and raises cAMP; the amino-acid substitutions increase resistance to DPP-IV cleavage relative to native GHRH. Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor 1a (ghrelin receptor) that stimulates GH release with reported selectivity over ACTH and cortisol responses in animal studies. Co-administration in preclinical models has been reported to produce additive pulsatile GH release. Observations summarized here derive from in vitro assays and animal models; the material sold on this page has not been evaluated in controlled human trials.

Reconstitution & Storage
Lyophilized CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin is stable at −20°C or colder in its sealed vial; −80°C is preferable for long-term archival. Reconstitute in bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) to a laboratory working concentration of 1–5 mg/mL for in vitro use.
